Integrated Health Care

At Swansea’s first integrated health clinic we take pride in working closely with doctors and other health care professionals to make sure that you get the best of all worlds. Our therapists believe in supporting the client through conventional medical treatments and we set the highest standards of care. All of our therapists are fully qualified, insured and undergo continuous professional development training (CPD).

At the Natural Health Service, we work with a holistic principle in mind, at all times. This principle is to treat each individual as a whole person, taking into account mental and social factors, rather than just the symptoms of a disease.

What We Offer

The Clinic offers a wide range of classes, therapies, treatments and massages from pre-natal classes, through physical and mental therapies to activities such as yoga, Tai Chi and Pilates.  On most weekends, we also run courses and workshops.

The centre includes a range of rooms for classes, workshops and for individual treatment sessions, all set in the peace and quiet of this beautiful building.

History of the Natural Health Service

The Natural Health Service was established in 2000 with a team of 3 therapists in Killay Village. Today we have over 35 practitioners and teachers occupying two stories of the Quaker Meeting House in the heart of Swansea and, over the years, we have gained the confidence and trust of over 1,500 patients.

Rhian Davies

The Director Rhian Davies Powell has been running the clinic since 2004. Her background is in nutrition and she is also a Homeopath. Rhian is more than happy to give you a free 30 minute consultancy to determine the therapy or treatment that would benefit you the most.

Your Relationship with Your Doctor

We always recommend that you should maintain your relationship with your GP who will be able to arrange any tests or X-rays that you may need. Therapies have a different philosophy but by working in this way with your doctor, the two systems of health care can provide you with an integrated service.

Mental Health

Years of research has now concluded that emotional and mental health has a direct link to physical health. When we are physically unwell this then directly impacts on our mental health.

The Building

Everyone involved with the clinic is proud to work in a listed building which holds so many fond memories for the people of Swansea; as numerous clients remember coming to the Quaker Meeting House when it was a school. The staff and therapists feel sure that the lovely energy they feel working in the building is due at least in part to its happy history.

Friends and Volunteers

The Clinic has many friends and volunteers as well as its staff members and therapists and it is their support and Rhian's vision that has made the clinic so successful since moving into the centre of Swansea in 2012.
