WThe Swansea Psychotherapy Partnership offers a lower-cost, warm, genuine and professional therapy service in Swansea and the surrounding areas including Neath, Port Talbot and Llanelli. The partnership believes that psychotherapy helps to improve the quality of people's lives and relationships. This is why they want to make psychotherapy more accessible for more people.

They do this by:

  • providing a lower cost therapy service
  • supporting more people in their training as psychotherapists
  • raising the profile of psychotherapy locally with the public and health professionals

Talking to a trained counsellor or psychotherapist can alleviate the pressure of the difficult situations that we all face and help you to work through challenging times, whilst at the same time giving you greater insight into yourself and relationships.

Psychotherapy is usually more in depth than counselling and looks at the underlying processes as well as the content of whatever issues are immediately apparent in order to help you focus on more fundamental patterns of relating to yourself and others.

The lower cost therapy service, endorsed by the Welsh Psychotherapy Partnership, aims to provide affordable therapy for people in the area and support trainee therapists to attain accreditation with the UKCP.
